The classic Victorian Rocking Horse features an equally classic leather saddle on its back. A craftsman building a rocking horse wouldn't necessarily know how to make a small saddle. Making professional saddle and tack from harness leather is a special skill. But consider; which child wouldn't prefer a real saddle to a padded cushion? It took us some convincing to have a saddler make a mini dressage saddle for our horse complete with elaborate tack, and...you&339;re the judge. Beautifully tanned and treated saddle leather and hand stitched tack will last generations when well maintained (saddle soap is the word). And for the Rodeo fans: a set of Western style saddle and tack is arriving sometime soon!
