Boston Lightworks Old Point Comfort Lighthouse Lamp
Old Point Comfort, built in 1802, is one of Chesapeake Bay's earliest lights. Located in Fort Monroe, the beacon from its 54-foot tower marks the mouth of the James River and the entrance to Hampton Roads Waterway. Old Point Comfort is still active today, lighting the way for Chesapeake Bay mariners and vessels.
