No, I would not recommend this to a friend
I purchased this freezer for my daughter who is in college, she went to her dorm and i drove the freezer to her location. we plugged it in and I left her dorm, that was 1/16/2008, she called to advise that it did not get cold, I went to her dorm to pick retrieve it, I brought it home, the compressor runs but the box does not get cold. there is oil dripping from the copper line to the evaporator, the macine does not work!!!!! I want a new machine!!!![@]
